Who We Are

We Innovate to Preserve

Natural Integrity

We use technology to realize the true benefits from the powerful natural ingredients of plants.

The founders of Coolhouse Botanics believe that CBD-based products should of the highest quality – and be accessible, with trusted purpose-built formulas for specific issues – along with full transparency that builds confidence.

We have pooled decades of leadership and entrepreneurial experience to create a new company to address common wellness problems – with innovative purpose-built solutions that embrace the power of CBD and other natural, botanical ingredients.

Why “Coolhouse Botanics”?

Coolhouse

We chose “Coolhouse” because it evokes the pure, innovative and natural solutions we aim to create. An actual Coolhouse is a growing facility with a minimum temperature of 45 degrees Fahrenheit, which creates a sustainable, nurturing environment to grow plants, especially Hemp, from which Coolhouse CBD-based formulations are based. This nurturing environment for plant growth is a core value that extends to our desire to nurture all living things.

Botanics

We chose “Botanics” simply because all of our products are derived from plant life and there are no synthetic, human-made ingredients included in our products.

As we continue to develop brands and develop products that serve humans and dogs – we also develop full marketing programs that use both digital and traditional methods, with a full spectrum of tracking and sales initiatives to build the brand, educate consumers and sell products.

Our Philosophy

At Coolhouse Bontanics, it’s all about focus and formulating with purpose. Rather than take a “CBD can cure all” approach, the founders chose to narrow their efforts and create CBD-based products designed to address specific, common issues. To choose their first areas of focus, they turned to their own personal experiences. Coolhouse founders enjoy life, but have personally experienced two common problems that many of us take for granted as they occur so often.

#1 Stressed Dogs

As pet lovers, we know that dogs can’t tell us what’s wrong – and when they’re stressed, it negatively impacts the pure enjoyment of the bond with our dogs.

#2 Lack of Sleep

As humans, we know that a lack of a good night’s sleep drives a wedge into the quality of day-to-day life.

While there are currently products on the market that address these problems, CBD is the clear choice for a natural, chemical-free solution – if it’s done right.

Research. Innovate. Deliver. Repeat.

To ensure success, we started with research that led to our innovative products and patent-pending BotaniTek™ formulations that provide all the great benefits of CBD – with none of the bad.

Through industry-leading research, the founders confirmed their initial thoughts – these were common problems and with few natural solutions available to those that suffer. More than one in five dogs in the U.S. are stressed, distancing the human-pet bond and the enrichment it delivers. Also, nearly 80 percent of people report not getting a good night’s sleep. Key learnings also informed the Coolhouse team about additional product considerations such as effective product delivery methods, ease of use and the need for safe solutions from a trusted brand.

All mammals have an endocannabinoid system that regulates their immune system and pain tolerance and influences their mood and emotional reactions. Stress in dogs, in particular, often results when the dog can’t regulate these emotions on their own and needs a little help. CBD (aka cannabidiol, which is made up of multiple cannabinoids) has been proven to be therapeutic and provide benefits for managing and mitigating stress in canines. Broad-spectrum CBD, which maintains the multiplying benefits of several cannabinoids, but with no detectible THC, is the foundation of all Coolhouse products. Plus, Coolhouse layered in its “secret sauce” – the patent-pending BotaniTek™ formulation to deliver exacting results. The BotaniTek™ Intellectual Property (IP) combines the benefits of the broad-spectrum CBD with additional natural ingredients with unique blueprints to map to human and pet, as well as specific wellness challenges.

In just 10 months from its official founding, Coolhouse launched its first CBD brand, Kradle™, which was announced on July 1, 2020, as the first CBD brand dedicated to calming dogs.  Kradle offers four products under three delivery methods: Chews, Toppers and Melts, along with a Trial Bundle.  This range of delivery methods is not found in other dog calming solutions. Kradle launched with a clear tagline: Lose the Stress. Love your Pet™ and just in time for the July 4th fireworks season, a common stress trigger for dogs.  Products are well suited for chronic anxiousness in dogs, as well as stress triggered by such events thunderstorms, vet or grooming visits, travel (car and airline), separation, new dog adoption, a new baby in the family and large gatherings, among others. Products are available at kradlemypet.com, as well as at 430-plus Pet Supplies Plus stores in 31 states and petsuppliesplus.com

Continued Leadership & Innovation to solve everyday problems with the natural, powerful benefits of CBD.  To address the sleeplessness faced by many, the WakeWell™ human brand is soon-to-arrive early next year to address the sleeplessness many people face with natural, broad-spectrum CBD-based BotaniTek™ formulations. This solution is purpose-built and formulated specifically for those who suffer from sleep issues.  In the words of Leonardo de Vinci: “A well spent day brings happy sleep” and American aphorist, Mason Cooley, “Three meals plus bedtime make four blessings each day.” These two statements aren’t true for the bulk of us.  Stay tuned for more details on Coolhouse’s innovative solutions to address this frustrating and common problem!

About our founders

For years, friends, family and other business leaders would voice similar concerns about stress in their dogs and lack of sleep. So, like most successful start-ups, our five founders – each savvy business experts with entrepreneurial spirits – set out to solve the everyday problems millions endure. They leveraged their business acumen in consumer research/insights, product development, American-based sourcing/manufacturing, finance, marketing, distribution and quality/compliance, along with an exploding CBD market and the robust and safe wellness benefits that natural ingredients like CBD can deliver.

Drawing from their more than 100 combined years of business experience across a range of industries, our founders took a swift, business-savvy approach to envision, concept and deliver a set of CBD-focused brands designed to solve important daily issues faced by millions.
